DATING DISCUSSION

I came from an asian country where people look down on dating very much. When I arrive here, I was a bit shy and still believe that dating is pretty bad thing to do. But after 2-3 years, my insight into dating changed and I started discussing about dating. I found it very much exciting and enjoyable esp. when I break up with my girl-friend.

But now, I got a girlfriend and I stopped doing dating. I was asked by my friend to carry on dating even though I got girlfriend. I don't think it is right as I got a lovely lady. My friends think I am foolish to give up dating because they carry on even though they got girlfriends.

What do other people think about that?

My question is "Should someone carry on dating if got a parter?"
